EMERGENCY FIRST AID FOR SCHOOLS
Course designed for people who work within the school environment.
Course Content
- Understand the role of the First Aider, the use of available equipment,
the need to record and report incidents.
- Understand the need for basic hygiene in First Aid.
- Assess the situation, to enable prompt action to deal effectively with
incident.
- Demonstrate how to administer First Aid promptly for casualty who is
in seizure or unconscious.
- Demonstrate C.P.R.
- Deal with wounds, bleeding or is in shock.
- How to deal with choking
Cost = £50.00 per person
Maximum: 12 per course
Minimum = 4 per course
PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID
All Childminders are required to have a valid early year’s first
aid qualification preferably upon registration, if not within 6 months
of receiving their registration certificate.
Course duration is 12 hours over 2 days.
Course is open to all who require the qualification.
